For County Offices & DA Providers

A math and science specialist for your Differentiated Assistance work

Your team leads the plan. I add depth in grades 7–11 math and NGSS science: what the SBAC test actually measures, how to read student evidence against it, and how to run improvement cycles that teachers own. I have led math improvement at a school in Differentiated Assistance, so I know the work from the inside.

What I bring to your DA team

Content depth

Secondary math and science expertise for the student groups and indicators your plan targets: SBAC claims, targets, depth of knowledge and scoring, and the NGSS science domains.

Root-cause evidence

Teams look at student work and diagnostic results by claim or domain, so the root-cause analysis in your plan rests on what students actually show.

Improvement cycles at the school

I facilitate PLC Plan–Do–Study–Act cycles at the sites you choose, using the same improvement language your office already uses.

Capacity that stays

Facilitation shifts to site coaches and teacher leaders over time, with routines they keep using after the engagement ends.

How a partnership works

  • We agree on the sites, the student groups and the one math or science goal from your plan.
  • Each site runs a One-Semester Improvement Cycle: a baseline diagnostic, six facilitated PLC cycles, and a second diagnostic on the same claim or domain.
  • You get a short summary per site: what teams tried, what students showed, and what they will keep doing.

I can work under your office’s contract or directly with a district. Pricing is quoted up front per site.

Connection to the Test Bank

Each site gets a free 60-day Test Bank pilot: SBAC-style math and NGSS science questions, diagnostics on the SBAC scale, class results by claim or domain, and Teams for PLC cycles. That gives every school in your caseload the same kind of evidence to work from.

Consulting engagements and Test Bank licenses are scoped separately. Test Bank results are practice estimates, not official SBAC or state science test results.
